1. STUDENTS ENTERING THE DOJANG
- Each student must register at the start of the training session
- Students should arrive for their training at least 10 minutes early.
- Students must bow to the Master as soon he enter to the hall.
2. WARM UP
- All students, on entering the class should begin warming up and stretching in preparation for the class.
3. STARTING CLASS
- Students will line up according to rank and seniority. The highest ranking member present will be on the right.
- The Instructor/Master will take a position in the front of the class.
- The highest ranking member of the class will call the command, attention and salute to the Instructor/Master.
4. DURING CLASS
Proper respect and discipline shall be maintained at all times, and MMA ritual should be followed in a uniformed manner.
- When the Master/Instructor enters the hall during a class, the Instructor on the floor should call the class to salute. After respect has been paid, the class should return immediately to training.
- When a student comes to class late, he or she should wait until recognised by the Instructor/Master, then approach him, salute and get permission to join the class.
- When a student must leave during the training he or she should first receive permission from the Instructor/Master.
5. DISMISSING CLASS
- Students should line up by seniority and rank, the highest on the right.
- The Instructor should be centered at the front.
- The highest ranking member will call the class to salute.
6. UPON LEAVING THE DOJANG
- Students must salute to the Instructor as soon as they leave the Dojang. This must be done without exception.
- Students should wait for the Instructor to acknowledge the bow before leaving unless the instructor is busy.
7. BEHAVIOUR
- There should be an absence of unnecessary noise in the Dojang
- Students and spectators should be prohibited from drinking, eating and chewing gum
- Spectators are allowed in the Parents Area only on Promotion days
8. BOWING
- The salutation in Martial Arts is used to show respect to one’s Instructor and partners.
- When entering an empty hall it is to show respect for the art and the seriousness of what is to take place.
9. SEATING
- While seated on the floor, students should keep a proper posture conductive to health.
- The legs should be crossed in front with the feet tucked beneath the thighs, and the hands should be placed on the knees.
