MEMBER OF THE GREAT BRITAIN JU-JITSU NATIONAL TEAM, COMPETING IN EVENTS SUCH AS THE BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU COMPETITION AND THE COMBAT JU-JUTSU CHAMPIONSHIP, AS WELL AS THE GREAT BRITAIN JU-JITSU CHAMPIONSHIP AND ISKA COMPETITION, INCLUDING PARTICIPATION IN THE JJIF WELSH JU-JITSU NATIONALS.
Martial Arts Belt Grading and Certification Process
At LondonCombat MMA Academy, we conduct regular colour belt grading approximately every 2 months. To progress in our belt ranking system and achieve your next belt, students must participate in a grading. After your first day of training, you may be eligible to take your first MMA promotion test after 6 months of consistent practice.
This test allows you to showcase all the techniques and skills necessary for advancing to your next belt. It also gives us the chance to closely assess your current progress. Your grading will be evaluated by Head Master TALAKESH, the Chief Instructor, who will determine your readiness for the next belt during the test and provide you with detailed feedback to help further enhance your abilities.
On the day of Promotion test...
You must be present 30 minutes before the start of the MMA promotion test for a compulsory warm-up. Any lateness will result in refusal for the promotion and will ultimately lead to an automatic fail. The examination will be conducted by Master Talakesh at our Academy as part of the colour belt grading process. Successful candidates will be awarded an official certificate, which will be signed, dated, and recorded on the day of the grading. These successful candidates will also be presented with their new colours in front of parents and fellow candidates as they progress through the belt ranking system.
